Call for proposals for CTLC 2016 conference

Call for Proposals Now Open for

The Cross Timbers Library Collaborative Conference

We invite proposals for the fourth Cross Timbers Library Collaborative (CTLC) Conference, which will be held on Friday, July 22, 2016 at Tarrant County College Northwest Campus (4801 Marine Creek Parkway, Fort Worth, TX 76179). This conference will be an opportunity for sharing information among members of the library community in the greater DFW region. We invite proposals for 25 minute presentations, three minute lightning talks, or poster sessions.  We encourage a variety of formats, including presentations on innovative approaches to current library challenges, workshops on specific topics, round table discussions on contemporary library issues, and other proposals for training and sharing information.

Our goal is to promote information sharing, awareness of successful programs, and an affordable training opportunity for libraries in the DFW area. Proposals on a wide variety of topics are welcome:

  • What has worked well for your organization?
  • What has excited your co-workers and patrons about your library recently?
  • Public service programs that have attracted patrons’ interest
  • Technical innovations that were successful

We will accept proposals from all types of libraries, including but not limited to academic, school, public, and special libraries.
