Digital Frontiers 2013 Conference & THATCamp

The UNT Libraries, UNT Digital Scholarship Co-Operative, The Portal to Texas History, and the Texas State Historical Association invite you to attend Digital Frontiers 2013 - a Conference and THATCamp for the makers and users of digital resources for research, teaching, and learning.

The second annual Digital Frontiers Conference will be held September 19-20 at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. The conference features a keynote address by Trevor Muñoz of MITH, and a plenary address by Jeffrey Stoffer of the Ak-Chin Indian Community Library, as well as panels featuring students, scholars, community genealogists and historians, archivists, and librarians from across Texas and around the country.

Registration is open until September 13, and is free for undergraduate and graduate students.

The graduate-student organized THATCamp will take place on Saturday, September 21 at the UNT Digital Scholarship Co-Operative. This unconference event is an opportunity to network and learn from peers and colleagues exploring digital tools in a humanities context. Registration is $15 (due at the event) and includes breakfast and lunch.
